We love our designer labels, but many of our favourite looks are pretty much only suitable for adults. Fortunately, many of our favourite designers from around the world now cater to young kids as well, offering top designerwear and footwear for boys and girls so the whole family can stay looking on point. Thanks to our fascination with celebrity idols and their personal lives, we see plenty of examples in the media of the best dressed kids from the wealthiest families. Want to recreate some of those looks? Look no further than our roundup of the top kids’ fashion designer labels.
Lamborghini – The junior range at Lamborghini is simple, sporty and stylish. The quality of the brand is reflected in the clothes and we really like the simplicity of the range. We have to say, though, our favourite pieces in the kids range might actually be the car-shaped suitcases.
Scotch Shrunk – This may be one for kids (and parents) who are more into their dramatic high fashion. Most of the flagship pieces in the kids’ ranges for winter 2016 are perfect for children who are more interested in experimenting with more grown-up looks.
Diesel Kids – The Diesel FW16 collection is currently launching, which mostly features casual pieces that closely resemble some of their young adult ranges, but are perfectly tailored to kids. This is one of our favourite current lines because the clothes are relaxed and don’t stop kids being kids, but they also look great.
Fred Perry – Fred Perry may be known for their iconic polo shirts, and their kids range is certainly no exception here, but it’s worth noting they offer more besides. They’re a great all-rounder for designer sportswear for children, and not as pricey as you might think.
Lacoste Kids – Much of the Lacoste range consists of miniature versions of the adult ranges, which is great for parents who want to style their kids. They have one of the biggest ranges and we think they generally get the balance just right between being fashionable and still appropriate for young kids.
Armani Junior – You don’t get much more chic and sophisticated than Armani, although when it comes to the kids’ ranges you may find some lighter and more fun styles than in the adults’ section. There’s a mixture of playful kidswear on offer as well as smart looks to choose from.
